Define task assignees on custom integrations json

Railson 4 years ago 0

We're using Zabbix to create tasks on Ryver, it would be nice to define assignees for these tasks automatically.

emoji

joeboon 4 years ago updated 4 years ago 2

Ryver have gendered some of their emojis without needing to.

You have man-rowing-boat and woman-rowing-boat and also rowboat. Same with walking.

There are non-gendered versions of :rowboat: and :walking: but you have included them as gendered:

Markdig =

:rowboat: = "🚣" 1f6a3

:walking: = "🚶" 1f6b6

Ryver =

:rowboat: = "🚣‍♂️" 1f6a3 200d 2642 fe0f

:walking: = "🚶‍♂️" 1f6b6 200d 2642 fe0f

Easier markdown for links (highlight text> right click > add link)

i1pro 4 years ago 0

Easier markdown for links.  Highlight text > right click > add link

- you already have right click just add the option for hyperlink that brings a popup where to paste the link.

Add a new permission to only allow team/forum admins to create new posts

JoshG 4 years ago 0

It would be nice to have certain forums and/or teams where team/forum admins can only make the posts, and everyone else can only comment.

Add comment field to checklist

FrednotFrank 4 years ago 0

Having a checklist where each item can have a comment field will allow the use of response templates.

As it is now, if you want a user to go through a checklist where the item being checked requires feedback (e.g., checklist item is "Choose Design Preference" and "Choose Font Preference" and "Choose Color proference"), the only way to do so is to set that up in comments, and have the template as the first comment. Trouble is, copying and pasting a comment, or responding as "reply", loses all the formatting of the template--no bold, no underline, no italics, no line spacing, so the response becomes a mess. You're working with a flat universe.

In other words, there is no interactive ability that includes having a template for the responses, and having comment fields in the checklist seems the easiest way to accomplish that. The other way would be to allow the importation of templates into the Comment field, so the template can be set once for all commenters, or copied and pasted as a reply.

Send a message without notifying recipient

Clay 4 years ago 0

It's late at night and I want to send someone a message. I don't want their phone going off waking them up, and I don't want to have to remember the message until tomorrow morning, instead I want an alternative send option to send the message without the notification.

Sure they have the option to silence their notifications for the night, but maybe they forgot to turn that on, or maybe we need them to hear notifications generally, but in this case my message can wait until tomorrow.

Ability for the Admin to restrict any further edits to an already archived task

bhdmail5 4 years ago 0

Admin should have the ability to restrict any further edits to an already archived task in order to avoid comments after the archival not be missed out as well as to better keep track of the progress.

Tags for Topics

David H 4 years ago updated by joeboon 4 years ago 1

It would be great if it was possible to tag topics (and to have these tags displayed neatly in places such as the topic stream). Right now, we're using "manual" tags in the form of "[COMPLETED] Topic Title" which obviously lacks all the benefits a proper tag brings (such as filtering). As an alternative, a topic could inherit all its child posts' tags.

Different view for backlog and to do state

mdabdulmunim 4 years ago 0

It would be really helpful if we have a different view for backlog and not as a category column. It becomes very crowded along with other columns. We can have a backlog view and a board view- the board view contains all the category columns to show progression of works.

Also, let's say the todos(in kanban, in sprint, it's sprint) are always picked up from backlog, they can reside in the same view as backlog. May be backlog in the lower part of the screen and todos are at the upper part. That way moving a task from backlog to todo has a decent natural UX. Also in the board view, we see the todo as left most column as well- it's fixed. You just use it to take the works from pipeline to assign it under different category columns.

Please release this feature asap, we are having hard time due to the absence of basic stuffs like this.

Need a task link

mdabdulmunim 4 years ago 0

I don't know how can I ever refer a task to my co-worker without a specific link to that task. Since you show the task in a modal, I believe you did never think of creating a link. But this should be and must be a feature in upcoming release. Extremely hard to refer a task in later point of time.

Add a global Files navigation on top left

PalmKing 5 years ago 0

Along with Notifications, Task Streams, Personal Tasks, there should be a navigation link for "Files", where all files that i have access to from various Teams, Topics, Tasks can be accessed at one place.

Ideally, allow me to organization the files with tags or folders.

Link Tasks between Teams or ability to create one task in multiple teams.

PalmKing 5 years ago 0

When I add a new Task in a specific Team, it would be useful to be able to create a copy of that task in another Team and link both tasks so that when i mark one complete, the other task in the other team is also marked complete.

Alternatively, there could be a feature where a task can live in multiple teams so that any Edits on that task in one team is reflected in the other Team it lives in. When that Task is marked complete, then other task is complete as well.

iPhone app - Tasks view: Add 1 button on each task frame to mark them complete

PalmKing 5 years ago updated 5 years ago 0

On iPhone app - Tasks view, one button for each task to mark them complete would be useful. When I tap each task, I can mark each task complete or do other common tasks without pressing three dots on top right. Less taps would be good.
