Welcome to the Ryver Product Ideas forum! We pride ourselves on constantly improving Ryver based on customer feedback. Here, you can view and vote on the current list of feature ideas, or add your own idea if you don't see it.
For immediate support, go to https://support.ryver.com and click the Chat tab in the lower left. You can also request help from the Send Feedback link in the top drop-down menu in the application nav bar.
Allow for setting a schedule for Do Not Disturb on a user account. During the times specified, notifications would go to Notifications tab but not email or push notifications. This would be useful when staff are working outside of business hours and want to send updates while thinking about tasks. Other staff could have DND setup to ensure they don't get a notification on their phone at 9pm or 2am. Or 10:42pm.
Notifications should take you to the chat message and highlight just as a comment on a Post does.
Currently, when you click on a notification from inside the Notification section, certain ones take you directly to the chat (and highlight it in yellow) while others don't.
I would like to see it so that it also highlights Chat messages in the same way it does on a Comment.
When marking a Post or Post comment as a Reminder, it can currently only use the prescribed setting. Allow each reminder to have a different delay, with the default being set in My Settings.
This would be more useful if reminder time periods were longer - not just 15 minutes to one day, but 2 days, 5 days, a week from now.
Whenever I check unread notifications, if I go read one or more of them, it still appears in the list of UNREAD. To "refresh" the list you can either refresh the browser or pick for example ALL notifications and then UNREAD again.
I think that Ryver should AUTOMATICALLY remove any notification from the UNREAD notifications as soon as the user is reading it.
Would like direct messages to work like text messages. Notifications currently don't occur if the App isn't open on your device. If people on my team don't have the app running, or the desktop program open, notifications only happen via email
In a Forum chat, the reply button is very handy. The downside is if someone @mentioned me, it'll send a notification. I consider this a bug as I shouldn't be notified for my own message. Basically if starts with > and then has @my_username, I shouldn't be notified. Thanks!
After using the Ryver platform for a few days, I am getting hammered with emails. Unfortunately, some of them are important and I do want them, I do not want to just turn off ALL emails.
Could we get the ability to have granular control of email notifications? For example, I want to receive email notifications for all direct messages, but not open forums etc. What if I wanted the opposite?
When you reply to an email notification the entire email is added to the message when it's added to Ryver. I think that this can be improved at least is could be added as a quote or even better just add a quote with the message that caused the notification.
It could also be changed so that you can decide yourself what should be included if the hidden id is added to the subject instead then I can decide what to include in the body (if I remove everything in the body now the message will not reach Ryver). Alternatively if it can't be placed in the subject use a visible id instead so I can easily remove everything except the id.
