I wonder how much of this request is Task Management that would come with the to-be-released Ryver Task.

The gtm command is great. I've never been a go to meeting user, but it worked beautifully. My complaint would be there isn't a /hangout to start a hangout the same way, which is inconsistent.

We're currently evaluating video conferencing tools, since we have a lot of remote workers. Having a frictionless solution to start an audio or video chat from within Ryver is quickly becoming a necessity. The Hangouts works, although clunky. Putting a link for Join this Hangout in chat, the way you did for gtm, would be a big step - we're Google Apps so we can have 25 people in a hangout.

I agree with those above that trying to build your own audio/video solution would likely not be the best use of your time. If you could continue to find ways to integrate popular services so they could be accessed easily, that would allow us your users the freedom to chose what we want to communicate with.

Is there a timeline on when this might be implemented? Right now we have an Admin account we use to create all teams - we relegated our users to Guests pending this feature.

I look forward to seeing this feature enacted. The inline preview is so small that I always need to view it larger, but it's unexpected to be taken to another application. It breaks the conversation flow having to swap to a browser and then back to Ryver.

My users have been asking for this for a month. We have several 3 person teams around the office who interact on a variety of topics. If they could have ad-hoc group chat without needing a Team to be created, it would help them be more efficient. They've come to rely on Posts though, so a stripped down version of features wouldn't be as usable.

This would make it much easier to see what's current in a Team without having to Sticky everything.

I'm curious what "popular services" would be started with? Or would it be easier to have a chat command trigger a particular integration rather than waiting on an automatic trigger like Zapier?

Yes! Limiting who can create Forums would be great. Ideally the default would be "Admins" and then individual users can be given rights to create a new forum. And like how Team can have a Team Admin, forums should be able to have Forum Admins. Of course this goes hand-in-hand with Admins being able to see and administer all Teams.

So excited for expanded admin controls!

Bookmarks would be amazingly useful. Equally amazing would be if creating a new bookmark could be a trigger for Zapier actions.
