Keep Composed Messages When Connection Is Lost

Oli Chance 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 2

Currently, if you're composing a message and the connection is lost, the message is also lost. This can be infuriating, especially when putting together something complicated, and especially because there are occasional short (and seemingly inexplicable) connection drops that can pop up, cause a message to be lost, and then disappear again.
Would it be possible to make Ryver keep the message even if the connection is lost?

Longer Reminder Time Durtions

Rut Scarborough 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 4

It would be great if we could have durations longer than 1 day. Options for up to at least a week would be great.

Option to untie the mobile app sounds from the status of the desktop/browser app

Ilan 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 1

The Android app does not notify via sound when users send me messages, if my desktop status is Online. The two status are essentially linked to each other. A great convenience in many times, BUT a great problem if the sound on my computer is malfunctioning ):-

Please add an option to un-tie the two, so that i can get the sounds on my mobile app, INDEPENDENT of the status on my desktop/browser.

multi-line quoted text

Piet Nutbey 8 years ago updated by Austin 6 years ago 9

On a regular base I use quoted texts in chats and often I will try to paste multi-lines, but the outcome on chat is that only the first line is actually quoted text, the next lines are regular text as can be seen in the attached screenshot. Was hoping this could be implemented in an update?

Embedding images does not cause enough scrolling

Andreas 8 years ago updated by jeff 7 years ago 3

If I embed an image with ![](image url) when using the Windows desktop client the chat will not scroll far enough down (probably depending on image size). I have not checked if the same goes for different platforms.

Have Teams Visibile in the Navbar for every Member

Hans Bosma 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 5

It would be nice when you can set a Team to be Visible for every member. So that the member sees which Teams there are, and if he likes to join such a team. So the Team is closed (grayed out) but visible. Some information may come up when clicking, e.g. the Team Admin.

Allow Notifications options for New Posts in a Team

Stephanie Henyard 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 2

If a user turns off notifications for a team, they won't be notified of chats, new posts, or new comments on a post unless they're @ mentioned or subscribed to the Post. Please provide a Notification setting option to get a notification when a New Post is made in a team, while not receiving notifications for other team activity like chats.

Change Post Reminders Icon To Indicate A Reminder Has Been Set

Stephanie Henyard 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 1

On a Post or Post comment, if you click "Remind me about this Post" it prompts for the reminder duration. Once chosen, there's no further indication that a Reminder has been set. A user just set herself 9 reminders for the same Post.

Please change Reminders to work like the other Post buttons - turn the icon blue to indicate a reminder has been set. Once it's blue, clicking the icon again should show the previous setting - to remind in X time, but also give the option to change the timeframe or remove the reminder. Upon removing a reminder, the icon should change back to white.
