Allow Non-Team Member to be included in a Post

Stephanie Henyard 8 years ago updated 7 years ago 8

There are times that a Team needs the input of a specific person or set of people for a specific topic. It's not appropriate to bring that person in as a Team member, as they don't need to be involved with other things being discussed and shouldn't see the team's history. Right now a new team would have to be created, which splits the content outside of the main team. It also may be a short-lived team depending on the length of the conversation/discussion. Ad-hoc group chat likely would not be ideal, since the content would be split.

Please allow the ability to add a non team member to contribute on a specific Post in a team, when they are added to the Post by the post creator/admin/team admin.

See which unpinned teams have new content

Stephanie Henyard 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 1

If a user is part of multiple teams & forums, they likely have unpinned a number of them, and probably have notifications turned off for that team. Unless they're @ mentioned, they won't know there's new activity unless they go looking for the Teams and open each team. Please add visual indications within the Private Teams list to show which team has new activity since the user last checked that team.

Include author when using the reply function or a link to the original message

Andreas 8 years ago updated 8 years ago 2

When using the reply function it would be nice if the message author was included or even better would be if the quoted message was clickable so that you would scroll up to when it was sent to let you see the context. Showing the context in a popup when you move the mouse over the message would be another solution but I guess that would require more work.

Red flag in sidebar if message failed to send

Albert 8 years ago updated by jeff 8 years ago 1

Currently, the only way for me to know a message was not sent was to see the "little red triangle" to the right of the exact message that wasn't sent.

I've often clicked away only to go back later to find that something wasn't sent.

Suggesting: new type of notification (not yellow bold text) = "Message Failed to Send" and make it red.

Remove Forum - No Longer Supported

jdaddy 9 months ago 0

There has been no activity from Ryver on this forum for well over 5 years.

You should remove this forum so your customers don't have the impression that Ryver is still actively under development or their development requests will be worked on.

Indicate Unread Messages in Topic Discussions

Lauren Mobilaxy 3 years ago 0

It'd be great to see which topics have unread messages. I would suggest replacing the total number of comments in a topic discussion with the number of new messages.
