Some applications allow for direct links on a desktop e.g the reference manager Zotero has links like zotero://select/items/44311204_433UA11P that go to a specific reference in the desktop software. This is incredibly handy and is supported in Slack but I noticed the link doesn't trigger anything in Ryver. Any chance they could be supported? They just need to be handed onto the base OS to deal with.
When I write in the chat box, I always see the "red lines" below the words I'm typing, because I'm writing in spanish, so all the words are "incorrect" in english.
If we could set a language to our account, the "auto spelling checker" of the "input field" would work in each language ;-)
It is VERY important for me if you could implement the possibility to invite Members for a (definable) amount of time ... they would be Member for 1 month, 1 Year ,,, and after this limited amount of time, their Membership status could be downgraded to simple Guests ... Or they could be deleted (the admin could choose with a preference...)
Thank you !
I would like to charge a fee to allow users accessing selected Forums or Private teams ... Sure, I can do it manually ... and invite the person after he/she paid me by paypal ... But ... I'd like something automated .. maybe thru GoPaywall ? or similar ?
Currently I am unable to upload avatar to forum.
The upload initially succeeds, after confirming the edit by clicking the "Update Forum" button, the avatar is not changed and is gone when editing the clicking edit/rename again.
Just a small suggestion. When a poster attaches an image to a chat post, It's probably better if the text appears below the image and not above the image which is currently the default. It's easier to read this way.
Many times it makes sense mentioning new post replies in the chat. Yes, people subscribed to the post are notified on replies but in some cases one would like to share the discussion with the entire forum, so the option to "___ replied on post ___" within forum chat is useful.
Currently the search on the top left gives you only the option to search for messages using a free input search field. However, it would be nice if it provided some sub-categories, like searching for messages or people. (The people search would be a handy complement to #, in which private discussions could be started with multiple people by choosing names from a list of people).
Additionally a search in the form of a tag cloud would also be useful as a way to see existing tags and how frequently they are used, allowing the user to click on a tag and see corresponding messages, as an alternative to searching by tags.
