Hi Chris. Are you saying you would prefer that the Send Feedback menu item be in the bottom menu instead of the top menu in the Nav Bar? Or maybe you just don't like having the two different menus?

Thanks,

Jeff

We rolled out the above described solution today.

We have rolled out another update to the way home/end works. If there is no text in the chat text box, it will still page the chat history up and down, but if you do enter text into the chat text box, then home/end will take you to the beginning/end of your current line of text.

Hopefully this additional level of logic will satisfy both camps (chat history scrollers and long chat message authors).

The Remove User action is mixed in with a new Admin UI that we are testing, so we're hoping to have this rolled out later in the week.

We rolled out the server-side support for Admin control of role-based functionality today. However, we need a few more days of testing on the UI side to make sure a user's nav bar and menu options update appropriately as the Admin makes changes to their ability to create teams and forums, or invite users.

We understand that there is some desire for threaded chat conversations right within the chat tab. We are considering that for the future, but there is a significant amount of work involved.

In the mean time, since Ryver also has the POSTS tab, which is like a Facebook (TM) wall for your Team or Forum, we felt that providing an option to copy a chat transcript into a Post and then comment on that post would be a useful feature.

The option to not auto-generate a chat message for specific teams/forums should be coming in the next update. Note that this is completely independent of the above request for threaded chat.

Please contact support@ryver.com and let us know which Ryver site this is for. I manage a Ryver organization with 450 users and I can scroll through them very quickly...getting from top to bottom in a few seconds. Though, I would usually use the search feature to find a particular user.

That being said, we are looking into loading the Direct Messages user list from cache, which will make it pretty much instantaneous. We will look into doing the same with the Admin's Manage Users view.
