We are having a situation where users are becoming notification deaf. That is due to the massive amount of notifications that hit based on certain situations. Having channels for different categories only goes so far since leadership also has to be in each of these channels.
For my team we have channels based for each market we serve. Leadership is in each of these channels along with the agents for that service area. I have to send blasts using @team to each of these areas multiple times daily for the field teams to see. The result is that my leadership teams become deaf/numb at the amount of notifications they also get. Not enough clarity in what the ding is for.
The fix that works with user messaging services I also admin is user roles. That way in a channel if I tag @rolename1 only users with that role get the notification while all members that also need access to that channel still have access.
Discord does that type of control really well. You can have 20k users in a single channel and still better direct pings to user chunks based on role.
I could not find any obvious way to cancel from replying to a chat. That is, if I've pressed the reply button, then thought better of it and decided I don't want to reply. I'm then stuck with the open reply box with no (apparent) way of cancelling out of it. Have I just missed something?
Seems like the reactions showed on the desktop version, when looking at the list of topics, and now you have to open the topic to see the reaction. I like how it displays on the mobile version and you can see the reactions as you look down the list of topics.
We have started to use the reactions to update teams on status of the topic (i.e. FYI/Info only, or complete)
would be nice if the command+k switcher include personal tasks?
neither can i find a shortcut to open tasks nor does it show up when i use command+k and search for it.
When creating a topic in a team it would be nice if you could chose who should get notifications for this topic. This would mean that when it gets created everyone else would be unsubscribed from the topic (subscribing later is still an option).
Building on this, is would also be nice if it was possible to do this when creating a user topic (meaning you could add multiple users instead of just one), then if could act as an alternative to group chat (which is still a missing feature for Ryver).
If this change is implemented it would probably be a good idea to allow users to somehow see who is subscribed to a topic. By the way, "Topics" is still called "Posts" in your feedback system categories.
In the user preferences, to toggle the Post Streams off, the website needs to reload the page, however... the reload occurs before the setting is applied, thus not saving the setting. There is no option to change settings to apply them to the next reload.
Hello guys, I really appreciate your work, I work in a retail company with +500 employees in Brazil, and we unfortunately use the Whatsapp groups for all communication, yes there are more than 100 Whatsapp groups. After a lot of research I'll suggest Ryver as our new platform for communication, but Ryver does not have Language settings (in this case for pt-br), and a lot of employees could have problems with that.
These might be two separate bugs.
1. When I move a task from one category to another, the task sometimes does not "follow" my mouse and starts glitching all over the place. The scrolling panes in turn also start glichting and I cannot move the task with any accuracy, I have to guess where it will end up. This most often happens working on a high resolution screen (e.g., my 4k screen at home). It happens both in the browser (newest chrome version) and the desktop version (Ryver's older chrome version) and both on my windows PC and my MacBook.
2. With a very long task list (18 tasks one category, not that many tasks in my line of work), moving a task causes the internal vertical scroll bar of the category to glitch out and move to infinity. The task box I am moving then get's "stuck" in the top left corner and it stays there even when I then browse to a forum, chat, what have you. See attached screenshot.
These two issues make working with tasks on my Macbook pro retina and 4k screen pc really frustrating.
We currently have our categories (in part) set by priority, what's been delegated, what's "next up", etc.
It would be really helpful to be able to set a date and time where a task will move itself back to the Priority Category.
I know there are due dates and reminders but with a very full task board, things get lost in the mix rather easily.
This is a separate thing, but just to ++ the idea, copying or moving tasks between boards and duplicating tasks would be incredibly helpful as well!
We have many private teams that are named after license plates in the format "CA2040PB" or similar. The issue is that the search would not recognize any numbers and it will not show any results.
For example, If I am searching for 2040 it will not display a result. If I am looking for PB it will display the result right away. Could you please check why numbers are not being searched by the search feature? We have a growing number of private teams with numbers and searching without numbers is getting very troublesome.
