For immediate support...
Go to https://support.ryver.com and click the Chat tab in the lower left. You can also request help from inside the Ryver application via the Send Feedback link in the top drop-down menu in the nav bar.
It is EXTREMELY time consuming to deal with password resets for employees. Just looking for a simple way to update an existing users password. Do not need nor want to see the current one, only be able to update it to something new.
Open forums and private teams are great, but, I think, an addition of open (and private) boradcasts. In boradcasts, only the creator of the list (and the members he/she invites him/her self) only can post or message and others can only read. Basically, read only forums (or teams) for almost all and read/write for some would be great. It'll enable us to create an announcement broadcast list, for example. We might be wanting to post important announcements and not let it get spamed by other messages.
At this point we are using Tags as a way to implement Custom Fields that we had in Asana. So the Tags in Ryver are being used quite often and because of that they are very important and should be able to be Manually Ordered, so that is is easier to separate them in "groups" or "sections" of related Tags.
When I use the Ryver Android App if I turn my phone on silent (which results in my ringtone and notification sound being turned off) I will still get Ryver "clicks". I think maybe this is because Ryver isn't classified as a notification sound but a music and other media sound.
I keep the Ryver application always running. I periodically have to shut it down and reopen it as it consumes more and more memory. The memory issue is a big one as most people using this are in productivity and already use programs that require copious amounts of memory. The last time I shut Ryver down it was at 1.3GB or 1.5GB of memory cant remember which (but at that point it doesn't really matter its too much). Please address the memory issue.
Given a message in a team
When I reply to it using the "Reply" button
And in that text there is a URL
Then URL/media preview should not trigger, because it just clutters the view showing contents not from my message
My idea would be to not parse URLs in text lines beginning with `>`
"Manage Forum"/"Profile" opens an empty page in Android app that causes it to stop working. Requires restart.
Opening the "Manage Forum" dialog, then "Profile" or "Edit" or "Tags, nothing is displayed, and going back does not work. There seems to be no way to recover this except to restart the app.
"Guests" and "Tasks" display something when opened, and can be navigated away from correctly.
I use Android 6.0.1 on a Nexus 5.
Please add the ability to select multiple chat messages to copy/paste the quote block ">"s for copy/pasting to other forums or 1 to 1 chats.
Not sure what the intended effect here was (or wasn't), but if you click on a users name in chat/userlist the profile window pops up. Clicking on their profile photo in this popup, the profile popup moves to the top left of the Ryver main app window, away from your mouse/wherever it originally popped up.
Many other chat applications have the ability to either hotkey, or click on a users name in chat to automatically insert @bob.dylan (or whomever) into the message box, then changing focus to the text box. Useful for fast replies to a user.
I noticed when attempting to view an external image link, Ryver requests filesystem permissions to my device, which is totally unnecessary. My expectations of this behavior should be that it either opens a preview window, or opens default link handler (in this case the system browser).
